Junior Academies

We have been allocated substantial funds from Sport England to develop a network of Junior Academies to nurture and develop young golfing talent in Devon.  We are identifying 10 to 14 year old boys and girls who have the potential to reach County, National, and hopefully even International standard.  These youngsters will receive top level technical coaching supported by Sports Psychology, Strength & Conditioning, Lifestyle and Nutrition. 

25% of the funding is being used for girls development and 10% for talented disabled young golfers.

High Performance Programme with Exeter University

In the heart of Devon we are proud to have the top University Golf team in England.  Exeter's R&A funded High Performance Programme for Golf attracts some of the best players in the country, and they have made their facilities and expertise available to the Devon Golf Partnership.  Ten of Devon's most promising young golfers are currently enjoying working with their winning team of experts.  For more details on this innovative programme click on the link High Performance Programme
